* Order Magic

* Order Manipulation

* Order Attacks

Psionic: Ability to defend his mind and be aware of an attempted intrusion.

Powers: Advanced Ability to Manipulate Chaotic Magic to attack and defend that include:

  • Probability and Reality manipulation

  • Entropic Attacks

  • Use of Chaos Inducement from minor to intermediate

  • Intermediate ability with Discord Inducement

  • Chaos Empowerment /Affinity

  • Chaos shield

  • Portal Creation theoretical knowledge (Story Based)

Damage scale: Each Chaos attack except the shield is initiated in 1st Post and executed in 2nd or 3rd All attacks emanate from his hands by orb, tendril or by touch. All attacks require Drevliv to be within 50 feet of opponent. Damage increases the longer the Prep. He can use any eight of the powers in one day this reducing to 6 if he uses Entropic attack or initiates his shield more than once as they are the most draining to him.

Empowerment/Affinity: To draw from the energy of chaos magic to heal during its use. It is an area that he has been taught by Verial to a point where he can heal minor / semi major wounds.

Portal Creation: Understands theory and what power is needed. (Story Based)

Reality and Probability: Upon release of attack in 2nd Post * attempted 5ft circle around target 3rd Post * 15ft around target.

Effect: To attempt to warp reality perception and probability around opponent and effect time in a chaotic manner slowing it up to 5-fold around opponent. To effect the probable physical outcomes such as a guided attack by opponent or their perception while the reality is being manipulated around them. The effect of this can be negated based on race or power of opponent. 5 time slowdown uses a non original vampires speed as a reference to slowing it down to be easier to attack. This power gives Drevliv time to react against beings that move at incredible speeds .

Only effective for 2 posts.

Can only be used twice in a day

Discord: Upon Release in 2nd post delivered as almost an unseen effect upon the environment if successful

Effect: To cause disagreement and internal strife on groups or individuals he has to be within 20 feet of them .Least draining of all powers.Effects groups for around an hour depending on their mental fortitude and strength of will. Effect only in one post primarily used to initiate strife the effects after that are really dependent on how the individual reacts. For example a creature prone to anger easily would be manipulated easier than one that was level headed or aware of discord.

Can be used three times in one day

Sorcerer.jpg

Entropic: Upon Release in 2nd post attempted chaotic vortex of 5ft around opponent.

Effect: To destabilize cells, mutate and accelerate decay in living and inanimate forms. This attack seeks to spread into living organisms and inanimate objects like a virus and can be controlled attacking  individual body parts while opponent is within 10 feet of him otherwise the effects are more on the whole form lessening their effect. To rot away flesh and accelerate aging with muscle wasting. This attack can deal heavy damage if left to run its course. Its effects are stronger on creatures with lower physical toughness or open wounds. In inanimate objects such as order weapons or magical it seeks to change them and hinder their effects. Only effective for 2 posts. The post he executes and the following post. Can only be used twice in one day

Inducement: Upon Release in 2nd post delivered through touch and orb projectile by hand

Effect: Chaotic destructive behavior in the environment, weather and seas if successful. Upon releasing an orb skywards or at the sea or by touch. He can direct the effects of this although he has to be within 25 feet of what he seeks to control and aim at. Small projectiles such as stones branches max 5  can be redirected during the course of the attack.Boulders or larger objects are aimed at opponent 3 max with no ability to redirect should they miss.

Used only once in a day and effects last for two posts

Shield: Only ability that can be summoned and used in 1 post. It can be draining depending on the level of attack he faces. Can take two heavy elemental attacks and one heavy magical. Can resist 20 weapon strikes unless the weapons are magical then this would be dependant on the level of their enchantment. Normally Shimmers just before it fails giving him a moment to try dodge attack, Active for two posts and is used mainly when he faces what he would consider an unfavorable situation. Can only be used twice in one day.

Effect: Capable of withstanding heavy attacks and can only be used defensively.

Early Years

Drevliv was parented by Flerial a wild elf that had strayed from the doctrines

that dictated their races behaviour regarding secrecy and refusal to interact

in any meaningful way with other races. Drevliv’s mother was human

although her origin was something Flerial refused to engage in conversation

with his son. His early years were spent much in the secretive behavior

traits still natural to his father. Flerial was versed in elements of Wild and

Elemental magic, the former practiced with a mind to its unpredictability. A

practice that Flerial sought to instill his son in at an early age. As outcasts

they wandered through the forests of Kerion and surrounding Badlands.

Drevliv while naturally inclined as a young-ling to follow his father's lead was

much more inquisitive and driven to explore his surroundings (Probably a

human trait from his mother). A life borne as a nomadic traveler of sorts

frowned upon by the elven races they encountered as a half blood and looked

on with suspicion by humans due to his father’s lineage. Early childhood was

spent in a manner of brief sometimes violent encounters with creatures of

varying descriptions at known trading spots where he grew to like roguish

types of creatures. The manner of the lives they led appealed to young

Drevliv. This again could be attributed to his human traits and lack of

belonging to any race. Flerial as a nomadic of his kind grew distant over time

as if he was missing something. To a young Drevliv this went unnoticed as his

mind was packed with ideas of heroic valor and tales of powerful sorcerers that shook the foundations of the world he inhabited. Foolish notions yes but imagination was the seed of power in worlds that only respected what you could take and hold onto. He had been told that by Verial the beggar once, what was it he said? Yes…’’ When the dreams come I will remember these kindnesses’’ Drevliv thought the man mad with hunger, still it pleased the boy to share food with him. How ironic that such a notion would come from one that was half starved and in rags. During his late childhood to early teens Flerial exhausted time trying to teach Drevliv in the practical weapon and martial skills of Wild Elves and while the boy did become competent in such skills it was not lost on his father that he would never be possessed of the skills or physical strength that Flerial’s brethren exercised. Truth was that it was not an inability to learn he just felt inside that will power in things was what counted. He was always very impatient as a youngster in looking for the easiest and most direct route to what he wanted.

War

As a teenager Drevliv began to get disturbed by dreams and

would awake to see ethereal lights and orbs in and around

his form. Alarmed he conversed with his father on such

things to which he received little save that it was natural

for one such as he. The chasm between them had grown to

be as palpable as the now frequent nightmares and orbs

that assailed his senses as if they almost sought to

communicate with the young half blood, that and the

yearning to seek something. At first, he reckoned the drive

to seek things out was borne of his need to know what had

happened between his father and his mother. A subject

that had been the catalyst for angry exchanges between

father and son for several years. Still the dreams became

confusing and upon waking he would struggle to separate

reality and the waking world from the unnatural state he

found himself in most nights. And so, it went on until a

chance encounter with the most unlikely of creatures. Rumour had spread of tensions brewing in the east among the Trenwer Kingdom and what information that had made its way to Kerion spoke of a terrible host that laid waste to those that stood against them. Soldier movements became more frequent in the spring towards the east. During these times his father frequented his brethren more and this only added to the divide as Drevliv was never invited. After Flerial returned his mood would be darker. The initial signs were there and became clear when Kerions roads became packed with creatures fleeing the now well-known wars in the east. Strange tongues they spoke and looked strange to. He would not see his father for weeks on end during this period as he explored further afield. This was where he would frequently meet Verial, the beggar that spoke of myth and imagination and indeed the one that would set him on the path of his life. By Autumn what had seemed something far away became noticeable, food prices soared. Lawlessness became as natural as breathing. Trenwer had fallen to the now known Neveris Void Walkers. Mages and magic practitioners from surrounding kingdoms had been called upon to battle the ever-nearing wave of corruption that swept all before it. Upon the bordering town of Termeil the corruption had been held, a desperate alliance of magical creatures including Wild Mages from Flerials kin and other races, some thought to be myth. Now all banded together in a collective effort that exhausted the very energy of the land to try and hang onto their way of life…. futile though the effort would be.

Alone

Months blended into a haze as Kerion emptied of its inhabitants. Always they pushed away from the conflict in Termiel. Drevliv fought a battle of his own against forces that assaulted his subconscious and dream state. Alone now he had not seen his father for almost a year the forests of his fathers race too were emptied. Still he remained and wandered well equipped for forest life as he was. He moved deeper into what had been forbidden to all save his father’s brethren. They were gone now as was Flerial. Paths became slivers of darkness bordered by trees that seemed to gauge this invader like so many guards upon passageways that drew him deeper. Time fell away as if it was an unwanted guest, something that echoed in the distance. His mind swam then as it did in his dreams, that slow sinking feeling as his form seemed to become translucent. Orbs broke away lighting what had become a chasm of darkness. He moved onwards with a strange feeling. Memories mingled with emotion and slowly a sense of loss. Where was his father?  Why had he left? He felt despair rise its reach almost as consuming as the darkness that strangled the light he emitted to the point of swallowing it and everything around in its dark embrace. ‘’What is wrong with me? The sound was absorbed by the darkness. Anger then, he felt it reach up within to steady his will, to lash out at this world and everything in it. It began as a musical laugh at first, gathering in volume, surrounding him. Reaching a crescendo that seemed to break the darkness around him.

A Path Taken

The familiar form of the beggar moved into view in the distorted darkness ahead.

‘’You, Verial?’’ The words spilled from his mouth. His mind fumbled to respond, he

opened his mouth.’’ ‘’Yes Drevliv, Me, did you come here to escape the destruction

of your world?’’ He smiled then and gestured him forward. The old man turned

and to his surprise Drevliv found himself drawn forward. Verial spoke, ‘’Yes, a

great doom is upon this world,’’ the old man nodded. ‘’They are all gone?’’ The

words fell from Drevliv’s mouth.’’ ‘’Are they? Is anything really gone or is it just

changed. Energy never really dies it is just changed and so the cycle begins. He

wandered along after the silhouette of the man barely noticing the ghostly glow

from him. ‘’Yes, to escape from the chaos’’. The voice of the man sounded as if it

was musing this conundrum. Drevliv spoke, ‘’that’s why I strayed deeper into my

Father's lands. The forest can be a haven’ ’The man turned now youthful in appearance and gauged Drevliv. ’Truly? and do you think you are now in a forest? ’Light blazed around him. ’’Welcome to the Shael Drevliv. What happens to this world or others in the multiverse has no bearing in the tapestry of existence. You are a sorcerer though you have always known this and those small kindnesses you showed …’’ He thought for a moment, ’Yes, to that beggar. I now pay you back. Do not see it as reward just yet ‘’. Drevliv felt a rug beneath his feet as his view which was distorted came back to focus on a room luxurious in nature. ‘’Your questions are many my friend and I have not the patience to answer, I will set these truths to you now. The Shael to which we are now in exists unseen to most and is governed by a different timescale. In short, a year here is equivalent to a day in your world. We as sorcerers take what we want and use our willpower to do it. No dusty wizardry tome’s here my young friend.’ He rolled his lips in a distasteful manner. ‘’We do not seek dominion over magic as wizards do. We seek to liberate it, guide it in its natural chaotic state to suit our ends. The world is wild as is magic in its true state. In your father’s world the Neveris Void walkers if successful will change your world, terribly maybe. In the bigger scheme of things all things change over time. Understand this, embrace it and know you are educated to that regard. Kingdoms, Kings, Queens, Empires, all these things come and go, time is the great leveler. We seek a higher existence and will assimilate within the above structures to that end regardless of our alignment on the scale of moral perception. Magic use can be draining use yours  only when needed. Lastly the source of our knowledge is arcane and divine this has been given through Chorvel a lower vibration upon a different plane of existence.’’ He removed his hood and moved towards Drevliv. He took in the detail of what had been an old man now shown as a young fair-haired man with grey eyes in dark robes. He wore an amber colored amulet upon his chest that glowed eerily in nature. Reaching into his pocket he produced a small amulet with a similar stone upon a chain. Do you understand these things Drevliv, are you ready to loosen the hold of your world and embrace the true nature of things?

Drevliv thought of his father. Indeed, his world. At that moment he had an epiphany and the words spoken communicated a universal truth to his very soul. He put away his questions and acquiesced to the man before him….
