Historically, Gaia was a world filled with intermingling species of every kind; chaos and bloodshed, the ugliest side of any creature ruled over the land for a very long time. It was because of the nature of the world being so rough that the current leaders came to be. Constantly training until none could oppose them and they began to find followers, or powerful beings finding themselves in this world, the four great nations came into being. Rule split between them, and in their own roundabout way, bringing a semblance of order to the world.
Currently on the world of Gaia, discovered thus far, are 4 countries at odds and in a power struggle to overwhelm and control the others. Civil and amiable on the surface, much goes on behind the scenes.
