Because of the layout of the world it is possible to have multiple eras as they are known today in different countries, as every country develops at it's own pace. It will not go past Feudal or at a stretch...the Victorian era. Please adjust your RPC accordingly.
You will be accommodated as much as the ruler of each country sees fit to keep true to the lore without sapping the fun from the members.
